Q + A

Jasmine flower tea and summer rolls from my favourite Vietnamese restaurant called Pho in Spitalfields, London

Who?
I am a slightly strange twenty-one year old, living partly in London (attending Queen Mary University of London for my final year of an undergraduate degree) and partly in the North (I'm like a homesick kid) in a town called Blackpool. For those UK residents, Blackpool was featured in a TV series called 999 What's Your Emergency and yes, I used to watch the program to make me feel a little closer to home (I did say I was slightly strange)!
I was born in sunny, sunny Thailand and at a tender age of eight, I moved to the cold Northern regions of England. Blackpool was where I went to Primary School, High School and Sixth Form and I guess now I would most definitely call myself a proud Northerner because being in London makes me feel like such a fish out of water!

What?
"Style Wills" is a style/fashion/beauty/food/personal blog that I like to fill. It's for times when I want to share my fashion creations of (not necessary) unique stylings with the world-wide-web, boast/complain/share little details or ramblings about my personal life that exceeds Twitter's 140 character count (often does). There will most definitely be posts on food, maybe a few recipes. Well, just because I am a major foodie, but who isn't?
Of course, where possible I will always keep the personal to a minimum (mainly because I am particularly dull) and make sure that the majority of my post contains some aspect of style/fashion/beauty but if not, I'm sorry and it must just be one of those days!
I am a self-confessed shoppaholic who understands that although quality may be better than quantity, as a student with a huge student loan, I would rather see more quantity! This means my favourite shops are online (huge eBay fan, Missguided, Boohoo, Fashion Union etc) or major high street stores (H&M, Zara, Pull and Bear, Topshop etc) and I often go on shopping hauls after the sale items have been up for a few weeks. This is mainly because I hate squeezing between hectic shoppers and because items get reduced even more and I am able to shop at my own pace.

When?
My laptop is my life, so I am online pretty frequently. Which means I could probably do the whole personal 'rant' every day but as I want to stay on topic and teach myself to be obedient and patient (yes, I am just like a kid with a new toy) and save good blogging materials for the next post! Therefore, I will say that style/fashion/beauty blogs will happen at LEAST twice a month, although it will probably be more. But I will try not to overload and upload every hour, on the hour because I am sure there's such a thing as overkilling a blog. Ha!
If there are real progress to this blog, I will be more than happy to take ideas and hopefully incorporate them on here. You know, like creative/fun/entertaining things. I don't know?!

Where?
I am going to be honest, I don't really know what to write for this one. I just went with the whole sequence of questions, so I'm not really sure how to answer this one. Where, where, where, where?
Where do I take my photos? Well, this may be a good question to answer perhaps when I have actually taken some more photos at rather good locations. We should just put a pin in it for now.

Why?
I love reading blog posts and have wanted to start one for a while but I could never stick it out! Fashion blogs turn to personal blogs and before I knew it, my blog was just gathering up dust in the corner of the recycle blog bin. So, not only will "Style Wills" going to be a brilliant hobby, I will make sure it keeps me discipline and keep up with commitments even when the going gets tough!
I have been a big time follower of:
Aimee Song of Song of Style, I find that she effortlessly takes catwalk looks and incorporates them into wearable street fashion with brilliant accessorising skills. Would love to duplicate her wardrobe.
Kavita of She Wears Fashion, who I came across pretty recently through Missguided. I love that she's also a Northern girl from the UK (a little bias) but that her style is so inspirational to what I would wear daily. I also love reading about her 'thrify' finds, especially clothes from car boot sales for a pound. I mean, that's magic.
Sam & Nic of Pixiwoo, but who isn't? I'm a big fan of their videos and they've taught me so much about makeup! It's probably no wonder that I have all of Sam's Real Technique makeup brushes.

How?
Most daily pictures will be from my iPhone, probably through Instagram.
For blog pictures, I will try and use my camera Sony NEX 5.
I edit my photos using either Adobe Photoshop or Pixlr (super cool online editing tool).
